The Honor Society of Nursing Announces the 2014-2015 Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy

Premier nurse mentoring program is funded by The Elsevier Foundation

The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) announced today that it will begin taking applications 26 August for its Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy. STTI's International Leadership Institute administers the academy mentoring program thanks to a generous grant from The Elsevier Foundation.

The Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy is a prestigious, highly selective 18-month program that pairs high-potential nurses in faculty roles at colleges and universities with experienced mentors who have demonstrated success as faculty leaders. Since 2009, the academy has paired more than 30 mentors and mentees (referred to as scholars) from nearly 30 universities, 15 states and provinces, and several countries. Based on curriculum developed by leadership experts, the Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy:

Prospective mentor/mentee (scholar) pairs may submit applications for the new Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy cohort from 26 August 2013 through 31 December 2013.
